Am I the only American who loves playing as the British?

for $10 = overpriced. Many BUGS. I'm an afficianado of AM. Rev. tactical. Got this for it's many scenarios, but it's too simple and inaccurate, and BUGGY, I suppose it'd be ok for a HH device, but it fails on a PC platform, although I play it for laffs.

Covers some of the battles of the American Revolution. Gameplay is as most HexWars games. Decent array of scenarios. If you are comfortable with HexWars style, recommended.

I would say that if you like the American Revolution as a period in history then this is the game for you. Their are realistic names of units which provide an element of realism to your gameplay. One thing i will mention though is some scenarios victory conditions are just too difficult to achieve. My recommendation for the these scenarios is to keep trying different things and play on easy. My experiance with the Brandywine scenario as the British is of particular frustration due to AI not paying any attention to my flanking force which forces me to march all the way across a large map to get to the American positions only to run out of time when i get there .(Just not achievable in 16 turns).

Overall the game is good. Fun to play and simple to learn. Good rules for Line combat and the different formations. The Victory conditions for the Americans in the campaign games seem to be too hard. It is way too difficult to win as the Americans. This oversight needs to be fixed. Other than that, I've enjoyed the game. I have the original paper map and chit version of this Decision Games release. It follows the original game quite well. It was also quick playing and fun. But those victory conditions need some work.
