The game is a bit to basic, charges in the rear and the positioning of units should matter a lot more. Also turn based kinda sucks wtf not make it real time combat like the total war series. I dont get why developers dont do this?
Also there da unecessary victory conditions in some battles that conflicts with sandbox play. I wanted to fight the battle of raphia as the selucids and smash the egypt ptolemyians. Then i randomly lost because i had to kill the elephants unitl turn 5. -_-

Fun little simulator where you can fight in a number of historical battles, during the rise and fall of the Diodochi. Decent AI (even the Casual level can surprise), and good for a quick game.
