Janky controls and bad collision detection sum this up beautifully.

I give this game a thumbs down mainly for the poor keyboard controls and the XBONE controller not working at all.

Nice platformer
Art is simple but cute.
The intro with magician alcoholic is fun)
I like the music especially.
Controls are hardcoded, I've wrote to the developer (and I suppose not only me) - patch with this option is in process)
I've stuck in the beginning, but then i tried a little bit hard and voila - the adventure began)
So, if you seek for some fun platformer for an evening - it could be your pleasant choice)

I love this game. It is a lot of fun to play and it never gets too difficult to where it feels impossible. It feels like playing a Metroid game in a way with how you get power ups and other stuff from the dungeon and have to back track to unlock other parts. I definitely would recommend checking this game out. (Plus it has amazing music and artwork!)

Very fine game, If you're looking for retro style platform game.
I suggest some minor improvements, fixes:
-could be more 'modern' in terms of having more save spots - got to go through like 4 rooms after loosing to dragon over and over again...
- I think the hero goes too far before falling from the edge of the platform - I see him praticaly in the air, but he's still standing on the edge, so it makes hard to slide the wall from the edge, as I pull back too quickly - this made fighting the dragon very hard for me
- something strange was happening at the begining stage of the game, as it looked like the items and treseures weren't saving, at checkpoints, for example I got to go for the map and hearts for several times, then it started working

A cute old-school platformer with a catchy soundtrack, and quaint pixel graphics, and a sense of humour but marred by sloppy, laggy controls.

Initially, I had left a bad review for this game after rage quitting it within 30 minutes of gameplay. But I gave it another try and changed my mind about it. It's just not a casual platformer that I expected it to be like the beautiful pixel graphics had me believe it was. In fact, the game is a little challenging because it feels like your hero Oliver always has lube under his shoes - he keeps sliding off every now and then.
But you do get used to the controls and get quite good at it as you play more. There is a sense of achievement as you progress in the game because you have to put in some work to gather powerups for Oliver. The game also gets a little easier with the power-ups as they enable you to skip the nasty parts like narrow slippery platforms that were a real pain while you were trying to reach the powerups during the initial part of the game.
In conclusion, it's a fun somewhat challenging platformer.

This plays exactly like Tiny Dangerous Dungeons. The same map system and all.
I've re-checked every room 3-4 times and not seeing any way to make progress. I got a key, but there is no accessible door to use it on.
I can't help but feel the game wants me to do something obtuse like wander around in the rooms that are too dark to see anything. If the map was better, perhaps I would not be stuck like this.

Love this game so far. It's slightly challenging but still fun to play. Music & graphics are great. Gameplay is smooth and responsive with a controller (used an XBONE controller). Reminds me of NES Goonies II.

Overall, this is a fun little platformer that is totally worth an hour or two. Unfortunately, that's its max length. I'm recommending it, but with some caveats that make me feel like it isn't worth it's full price, it's really only worth about half that:
-It is short, and even for such a short length, it needed a few more enemy types thrown in
-The controls are just a little floaty, but you adjust to it and it isn't painful
-Even though It seems like a metroidvania, really, it's pretty linear as you just keep going from one side of the map to the other to slowly open rooms a little further on each side; you never really feel like you can just go off and explore because you can't, you always have to go where you need to go next
-
The two bosses you fight are pretty much back to back because of this, and with the more linear feel, would have been much better split up over the gameplay time
-
The last item you get, the sword, is great (to finally have a projectile weapon), but pretty useless. You've already beaten both bosses by then, and probably just have a few treasures left to find, so it seems pretty wasted
Overall, fun game, but my recommended price is about $2.50-3.00, so I'd wait for a sale if I were you.
