This game is amazing!
At first I thought it would be just another retro arena shooter, even though the visuals looked amazing.
But it wasn't! The gravity shifting mechanics are amazing. The first time you shift your character's gravity is simply mind blowing. It takes time to get used to the controls in different gravities, but the learing curve is swift.
The way the game takes advantage of different gravities in the levels and bosses are also very cool. You really have to keep shifting and thinking in order to get through.
Lastly, the aesthetics are incredible as well! The pixel art and animation are top notch and the soundtrack offer a heart pumping sci-fi mood, just in par to the game's theme.
I totally recommend this game for anyone who's interested in an indie game with an uniquelly fresh taste.
10/10.

Excellent game. An innovative gameplay
Outstand visuals and super polished. Lots of variety of character and scenarios.
Share a lot with Towerfall, meaning it is an amazing multiplayer game.
The main campaign is a lot of fan, especially with friends.
Totally recommend the game

Beautiful graphics and animation, but I didn't like the gameplay. Temporary weapons and the changing of gravity aren't my stuff. I woudn't mind about the gravity changing too much if the game had some permanent upgrades and builds. it's all about changing the gravity, avoiding bullets and managing limited stuff. If you don't like these, pass from this game as well. If you are looking for some Arcade stuff and like challenging gameplay with repetitive stuff, I think this one would entertain you.
I'm hitting Recommended just because I want to see if these guys can come up in (the future) with something interesting using these graphics.

Target Audience: Those looking for a unique shooter with friends to play with
Summary:
Gravity Heroes is one of those games that has an interesting concept on the surface that actually does live up to how you'd want it to play out in terms of gameplay. The ability to move gravity does help a lot here without being overly powerful....as long as you use it correctly and skillfully. You'll struggle a tiny bit at first as your brain needs a period of time to sorta “reset” how it thinks, but if you adapt, you'll be matrix dodging and zooming across the map and dealing with the interesting problems put before you in level design and enemy placement. The game is easy to follow and look at for the most part and enemies have clear attack animations and readable tells, even if you end up running into them with the chaos of everything around you.
Granted, that's sorta the gotcha here: sometimes there's a lot going on and it can get overwhelming at a single player portion, so this does seem to be a game good with friends considering the resurrection mechanic. With that said, it'd be absolute chaos on the screen as well. Level design is great in introducing new attack patterns to deal with, but once in a while you'll get an enemy and a placement that feels unfair or may take you a real minute to understand what's going on. Some sound design is also lacking in certain guns/places, as the game doesn't do a great job of audio feedback from when you hit an enemy, relying strickly on visual indicators that can get blocked out in the right situations.
The biggest thing will be if the game can keep you playing after you finish the relative short campaign, and while there's good guns and enemy variety, it's really going to come down to you and your friends in play sessions in order for that to really get a bang for buck. The price point is well warranted here, and action players will get a good solid game to have fun with a mechanic of gravity with, but there's not much else beyond that to really sink your teeth into in the long haul.

Lists:
Positives:

Gravity mechanic helps define some unique situations that can be fun to play, but also fun to master.

Good enemy variety up front, and level design differences help makes each scenario a little different.

Animation is clean and crisp and most of the time you know what's going on.

The chaos of the gameplay can lead to some hilarious moments, and seems to be better with friends.

Resurrection mechanics seem to do well to help the chaos.
Negatives:

UI health bar being on the character and the way its done leads to situations where you can't see what's going on with their health in specific circumstances.

The game's campaign will be too short for some (it's good for the price point however).

Once in a while you get a scenario that doesn't feel polished/fair, and can leads to some frustration.
