I am reviewing the early access and will post updates along with upcoming updates.
+ bashing is too much fun
+ spells are great
+ clear road map
+ throwing enemies in the distance
+ a steal for the sale price with upcoming updates
- movement, jolting around is straining in VR
- progression, items and more levels needed (this is coming according to road map)
Should the characters react differently to the fact that I am a giant whacking them with trees and an enormous mallet? Fear me!

I have tried 2 levels (there are two available right now). And played only for a while. So these are only my first impressions.
POSITIVES:
I very like defensive concept of the game.
Actual game features:
- 2 defensive levels
- 2 types of magic spells you can throw on your enemies
- You can pick up tree to fight your enemy, however it last only couple hits
- There are like 5 types of enemies until wave 6, one flying. In further waves there are maybe even more varieties. I like it.
- There is a leaderboard for daily quest (which is one of the levels but the score appears on leaderboard)
- Enemies are stealing the gold from you or destroying your buildings
- Flying enemies can blind you for a while
- You can customize your character hand colour in menu
NEGATIVES:
- VERY BAD movement feel (at least for me). I smashed my Oculus 3 times during one level and 2 times the wall and surface and table (I have 2 x 1,5m play area). Maybe I will get used to it, this is just my first impression.
- There is no leaderboard for anything else but daily level (which will in my opinion reset every day)
- no gold gain (so far)
- no level progression (so far)
- no equipment progression (so far)
- no shop (so far)
- no building (so far)
- you just go through waves of enemies until they rob all the gold out of you and you get Score appear + Wave you reached
WHAT WOULD KEEP ME PLAYING IT:
- multiplayer
- better movement controlls optimalization
- definitely gear and level progression
- village advancement system / defense system upgrades (I would be able to upgrade some passive defense systems so I would not run chaoticly around the map whole time with those bad movement with controllers. Thus I could focus on defending 1 place in later waves)
I recommend this game, but its still work in progress of course. Its fun to try it and good to support game devs by purchasing it.
Good luck devs!
