I'm not sure why I picked this game up. I think I got it pretty cheap, not sure. I hope so anyway. I get what they were going for, and I could see it being fun, but it just didn't hook me. I enjoyed that there was a story to follow that introduced you to the games skills and upgraded your gear, but I just found the gameplay to be boring. Lots of waiting around, running from the cops because you got seen, even though you were practically laying on the floor crawling under a window at night. Controls felt kinda wonky. I had to physically stand up twice to not crouch, the look at item identifying sorta worked. Too many issues. Some things were fun about it though, lockpicking was neat, throwing loot in the backpack, breaking windows. The driving was surprisingly good, except when my hands suddenly found themselves not on the wheel and all of a sudden I'm going in the opposite direction. This was an issue particularly when backing up, trying to line up real nice in that parking space. The graphics are just terrible and I didn't feel like I was in an actual neighborhood. The pictures are kinda misleading. And there are just too many good VR games out there to waste any more time on this game.

good for a stealth vr game, gets a bit grindy and weird, but still an alright game.

Runs like utter dog inspite of the fact it has such jarring aliasing it looks as if somebody rendered it by cutting out the shapes with a fucking handsaw. The lighting? It appears as if someone used the mspaint fill tool to render the shadows. Wtf was the budget for this piece of shit? A Ukrainian developer with a 2011 EeePC? Now I get why this piece of utter garbage was $2.47, that's already 4 times the entire gross budget. The controls? It's as if they got a fucking toddler to play with a controller and said "map these please". I'm not trying to play fucking twister with my fingers to equip my crowbar. Also, the inventory system is fucking ass and its easier to thread a needle through the developers ass crack than to take things from your belt. The NPCs in this shit have fucking telescopic xray vision and can hear a whisper from like 7km away, then your fuckass game fades to black as if I'm supposed to care, instead of any interesting evasion mechanic. Fuck this stupid ass game.

Issues in so many departments; false advertisement, game bugs, game crashes, etc. First of all: I thought I was going to be playing a free roam sandbox game where I can just goof off. But no, even when the game advertises that I was forced to follow a story and couldn't just break into random houses and start stealing like I thought I was going to be able to. This game looked so much more tactical and stealthy on the store page, when it's just as simple as buying information off of a computer and breaking into houses where no one is even there. After I played this game for less than 45 minutes (couldn't even rob 3 houses), I encountered a bug where I could not play the game at all and would crash on startup. Tried every single solution in the book to try to fix it, and it didn't work. Will be refunding.

PLEASE update this game! Its been 2 whole ass years and through my time playing i've fallen through the floor, had tenants see me through walls, my right hand stop working, found a duplication glitch. (go to the stash, pull out your bag navigate to loot, stash the item you wanna dupe whilst holding your bag, grab the item from your bag, and you'll have 2 of that item one in your hand one in the stash). Please i love this game, its upsetting that its been neglected for like 2 years, and doesnt get the DLC support the flatscreen version does.

Thief Simulator Early levels are Real fun, becuase they are play-tested After Richie, the entire game just falls part, with people seeing you through I shit you not. EIGHT walls. and rushing to you and calling the cops because they hear "non-existant" noises. the game gets real frusterating. The Hacking laptops don't detect inputs half the time, and if you so much as move an inch everyone in the area will know exactly where you are and call the cops immedatly. save your money. its a clunky nightmare The early game: 7/10 The Mid-Later game: 2/10
