A fun and quirky stealth-based problem solving game. It has an innovative rewind time mechanic and sole-ful combat. There are tonnes of hidden areas, secrets, and collectables and a nice little mission rating system that will be great for completionists and speedrunners alike.
The game is well stylised, but graphically it's nothing terribly special. Luckily, the focus is more on the mechanics and problem solving than it is graphics. Early on, the controls aren't terribly well explained and the game can be a bit confusing - especially with selecting and starting the first mission. Additionally, the lore and story take a bit of backseat to the gameplay. The story and lore is present, but I found myself skipping over it to get to the gameplay.
The biggest draw to the game is the rewind mechanic and the different shoes available. They really set it apart from other indie games, and especially other stealth puzzle games. The game is worth a buy if you're a fan of stealth challenges or puzzle games.
Disclosure: I'm friends with one of the developers, and had access to some of the early test builds to help give feedback. I purchased the finished game for full price, and have tried my best to be as balanced as possible in this review.
