This game is "otterly" brilliant, my favourite part is playing with friends in the pvp modes.

1.3 hours in the game and we were loving it very much.
For starters, I really liked the character design of the game. The cartoon style look n feel of the character is great.
Environment works really well with the world of game and everything feels a good part of same world.
The most fun part are the jetpacks.
If you are looking for a new game to grab to play along with your friends, think no more!

The game does a poor job of telling you where damage is coming from and why you died, which makes reacting to taking damage difficult. More unfortunately though is the lack of online play. It might be fun with friends, but I was completely unable to get Steam Remote Play to work properly for the local multiplayer so I couldn't tell. This game shows a lot of promise with some fun gamemodes and a unique style, but I'm going to wait until they add online multiplayer and a bit more polish.

I found this game lots of fun to play, especially with a few friends.
The game is simple enough to learn which makes it great for a quick party game.
The visuals are pleasing to look at with several cool locations and a selection of quirky and unique characters (including a few non-otters) to pick from, my favourite being the otter "Lyra".
Each character has their own abilities and attacks to keep gameplay feeling fresh, some abilities are really cool like "Noah" who bombards a target are with fish. Its all very fun.
The sound is good too, the sfx are subtle and appropriate and the soundtrack fits in nicely too.
The game was somewhat easy to grasp with its simple control scheme, I struggle with a games controller in shooters yet I quickly got used to the controller and was able to progress in the campaign, I even got a few kills in the versus! While the campaign levels got harder, I got better at the game and never struggled too much. The keyboard support could be a bit better however and although most things work fine, I struggled to dodge with a keyboard.
The multiplayer suits having as many players as possible and is great with 4 players, most of the fun will come from playing with your friends, I have been lucky to experience 4 player multiplayer.
Decorating your character with different gear was fun, I quickly unlocked a few items in the campaign which encouraged me to keep playing to unlock more, its all unlocked through playing, no microtransactions or anything at all which is great!
The developers put a lot of care into the game and it shows in the characters, level designs, sound and music and even the menus.
I did experience a couple of glitches but nothing major, and I now have a newfound hatred for the stun turrets!
I rate the game as a really solid 8/10, there's room for improvement in a few areas but for a new studio its a excellent start. As a studio, they have excellent communication with their fans, especially on their discord and if you look on their youtube, facebook and twitter, you can see their dev logs which all look so professional, I expect great things from these guys.

I was really looking forward to this game, but it's at best a beta version.
I can overlook the fact that the cinematic sequences are a joke and do not really lead the player into an atmospheric environment.
The real issue started for me with the gameplay and controls itself. To really play this with several people you need proper controller support. But the unfortunate truth is, that the controlls are choppy and most frustrating. You can hardly hit anything and looking around is quite disorienting because of the choppyness. There is as well no proper auto aim and just as important an auto aim setting that can be tuned so that players that are not so familiar with shooters have at least somewhat of a chance against more seasoned ones. Then the game modes, where there is no proper explaination delivered how they work. So you end up with frustrating trial and error to figure out what the heck you are supposed to do. The controls are not helping with that either. Looking past that, non of the play modes really made any fun with only two players. There seems to be no concept at all to offer content for that, besides 1vs1 deathmatch (which quickly wears out).
And as a last point: I do like toon graphics and I'm very much into games like Battlefield Heros and Awesomenauts, yet this game here needs an epilepsia warning. It's just to much visual stimulus. I can really not recommend the game in its current state to anyone. Anyhow: I'm hoping the developers keep up their effort and turn this around into something great to play. So guys, never give up, never surrender!

I've been following this game for a couple of years now and had the pleasure of playing it at different stages throughout it's development at events organised by the creators, so it's great to see it released! It's great to be playing it at home! Now I just need to make some friends and for C19 to disappear so I can enjoy the local multiplayer to it's fullest!
I've not played any split-screen multiplayer since buying it, but that's mainly because of what I just said, and because I already know that part of the game is awesome! No doubt I'll be playing some split-screen soon though! I just needed to get some practice in before playing against the girlfriend. I'd never hear the end of it if she beat me :P
Instead, I decided to try out the campaign as that part is completely new to me. I wasn't disappointed either! I've just finished it, although I wasn't good enough to get 3 stars on every level just yet, but I'm getting close! Loving some of the item customisations I've unlocked so far too, although I kinda wish we could save, or it would remember loadouts, at least until closing or restarting the game, but that's a very minor detail and likely just me being picky!
While I enjoyed playing the campaign on my own (it does have co-op too), it's definitely a game best enjoyed with others! If you have kids, live in student halls, barracks, or just want a laugh with some friends and family, playing a game in the same room together, chances are you'll enjoy this!
