I Need Spirit: Off Road Edition Reviews

Absolutely driving races on absolutely different vehicles or even different techniques! Physics is extremely pleasant, and at the same time will not let you relax))

To enjoy "Need for Spirit: Off-Road Edition" you indeed need a big helping of an alcoholic beverage of your choice. For us sober people however this game is just what it is: trash. Ah, 2019! We didn't have Covid, Putin was still the "nice dictator" and Atomik Fabrik still released games that weren't asset flips. "Need for Spirit: Off-Road Edition" is from that time and ... well, it's not really much better than their asset flips, just less ethically questionable. Without much fanfare you get tossed into a world with the simple task of "here's 10 minutes and a monster truck (?), find that thing!". What thing? Where? And why are the physics so damn wonky? No idea. All the while a short, annoying music clip is looping in the background. So you drive your vehicle around the scene, curse about the bad handling which either sends you careening off the road at the slightest turn or lets you get stuck on invisible obstacles (I love how there seems to be an invisible wall IN THE DAMN LAKE). Needless to say I couldn't find the thing I had to find as driving the dang truck is just too frustrating. Apparently there are two more maps - ice world and mars surface - but I'm not going to bother, sorry. It's just all so ... meh. And it's no surprise really: it's all cobbled together from various assets without much thought. The map isn't made for this vehicle, it's just there because it was a free asset pack and looked good. There's preciously little "game design" here and just telling me to "find that thing" without the slightest attempt to make the journey worth my time isn't enough, sorry. Pros: • Graphics (I don't know what they drive as a result, but the graphics are good here...) • Optimization (Well, as expected from such a small game...) • Physics (I can't help but mention it, because it's very nice here!) Minuses: • Gameplay (No variety at all...) • Sounds (They are missing)

Advantages of the game: -Inexpensive -Interesting gameplay -Excellent physics (It's really good, the game feels nice) -Freedom of choice Cons of the game -Poor graphics -Difficult to master Personally, my opinion is: it's definitely worth a try, you don't lose anything

Very good computer game, I always had a soft spot for racing. I would very much like multiplayer so that you can play with friends, but in a single gear it’s also pretty cool. Snatched at a discount :) Therefore, I am very satisfied.

Great indie car simulator, the physics is transferred quite well, you can feel the relief of the map, feel the hardships of driving these cars on the type of 4x4. The game will not let you get bored with the obstacle course and need to fit in 10 minutes, it is very interesting and challenging

A very funny craft, developed on the Unity engine. This is, so to speak, a simulator of a Russian tractor driver. The game is well optimized and does not lag, and the music in it, this is a separate conversation, is so well chosen that you feel like a villager near the city of Saratov. 10 bottles of vodka out of 10

Need for Spirit: Off-Road Edition Positives: + Ok concept + Some cool vehicles + Some parts of the tracks look ok + Tracks with different landscapes + Drunkvision is more tolerable this time + Ok steering and handling + Savegame function Negatives: - A lot of bugs and glitches (making it harder to finish the tracks) - Hard shadows makes it difficult to see - Still there is more improvement to be done in drunkvision - A lot of badly designed landscapes - Narrow paths - Some tracks are too long - The timer is not balanced enough - Music get a bit repetitive - So so and glitchy graphics - Variable framerate - Short length (its all over in under an hour) If you have played the first Need For Spirit game, you should know that this one is better. Its still not good, but this time its playable. Total Score: 5/10

why was this $57?? i think that is a scam. also the music was very loud. this offended me, i am sensitive. so loud aguhhhh my ears! thats what i was thinking. my ears!!! agh! so loud! also though, what i did appreciate was that every time i crashed (which was often) the game let me flip back over. real life trucks do not do that! but thats okay because this is a video game.

First off this game needs to be tested Second this concept needs some kind of purpose Third this idea needs a better reason to even be played.
