Mage is a fun little platformer which is great to play when you have a little bit of time to spare. The game feels simple to understand yet has a complex level layout which is extremely well thought out, similar to Metroid. The levels require you to go back and forth to discover secrets you may have missed, as well as to access new areas you could not before. This sense of exploration and adventure felt very rewarding, especially as your character becomes stronger. The bosses were also fun little fights to break up all of the exploring, and some of them had a surprising challenge to them.
Overall I definitely recommend Mage, it's unique, short, and has a lot to offer if you're looking for a small platformer game with a few unique mechanics and some funny commentary!

I really enjoyed my experience with Mage, it's a fun little Metroidvania with nice little challenges to keep you engaged. I especially liked the last boss, which worked very well with the games mechanics.
