It's difficult to find anything positive to say about this game. From the moment you start playing, it becomes apparent that the development team either lacked skill or simply didn't care enough to deliver a polished product.
Constant freezing, severe lag, and frequent crashes make the gameplay experience unbearable. Even if you manage to push past these issues, you're met with poor design decisions—no tutorial, unintuitive controls, and a general lack of guidance. The game fails to explain itself, leaving players frustrated and confused.
Visually and mechanically, everything feels wonky - from poorly croped icons to general elements of balance and gameplay. It’s as though the developers had no grasp of fundamental game design principles. The sheer lack of quality control suggests this was released prematurely—if it can even be called finished at all.
This is one of the most disappointing experiences I've had with a video game in recent memory.

I initially played the demo, Night is Coming - Wrath of the Woods. It is because of the demo that I ended up buying the full game. I really enjoy the game play and story. The concept of managing a settlement while dealing with the forest and Velemir's forces is pretty epic. The night hags and spirits that mess with your settlers is a bit annoying, but that's just another mechanic to have to play with. Overall, it's a great strategy and city builder game. Even on the dawn setting, you have to be strategic starting out.

Honestly this game is great! its pretty tough and has a steep learning curve but once you get it down its too easy even on the max difficulty. have not tried horde mode yet. excited for that because i just feel this game didn't have very much content to keep me coming back. and i hate how i had just got things going and i won. but overall very interesting concept and very fun!

Fun niche game, but I would wait to buy because the game has too many problems.
* Workers spazz out way too often. Which is only fixed by restarting the game.
* Alot of construction bugs, like half built gates, or not upgrading the walls from wood > stone.
* Difficulty is not incremental. The devs need to fine tune the difficulty spikes as the game progresses. Easy mode is too easy, medium difficulty is absolutely brutal. I don't even want to try the hardest difficulty.
* The game is a RAM hog. I assume it's due to HD Textures. If you have less than 32 GB of RAM, lower your graphic settings and hope for the best.
* There's no building choices. Leading to limited strategies, and monotonous gameplay.
All in all, the game is fun, but it needs alot of work.
