1. Controller behaves quite weird. Sometimes it's not detected at all, and while navigating menus you have to move your joystick repaetedly just to change the postion from default (which happens to be Exit %) ). 2. Didn't play long, but tactics seem to be very repetitive. Movement seems slowish, too. 3. I don't mind graphics much, but they seem to be either a parody to something or really uninspired. All in all, I'd recommend looking for something else

Has a lot of potential but too many major bugs, especially when trying to use controllers. Also you can't even tell how much life your character has because the gauge always appears full when it shouldn't be.

Well done, a fun kick ass game, simple controls, not much of a learning curve required. The visual art style of the game is very appealing to the eye, not many distractions. Can't wait to see more! 10/10 Fun game.

It is okay as a demo or guinea pig for developer to practice coding. It is not okay as a video game product: repetitive, boring, mindless button mashing, AI is not existent.

Urban Justice isn't quite disastrous, but it NEARLY is. The game design is braindead, because spamming jump-kick will solve every conflict with no issue. There only appears to be a single enemy type, the protagonists all control the same, and the storyline is a poor, watered down alternative to genre classics. If someone showed me Urban Justice and told me "this is what beat 'em ups are", I would wonder why anyone enjoyed the genre to begin with.

I wasn't crazy about this game. It's super cheap (even cheaper now, being on sale), but even then there isn't any good reason to buy this. There are far better 2d beat 'em up games on Steam that are fun to play and inexpensive. Hard pass.

A cool beat `em up scroller! :) Liked the graphics style and gameplay. Lot’s of content too, has a skirmish game mode where you can get coins and unlock characters. Also has a story mode. Overall, I recommend it if you love the genre or looking for something casual to pass some time in style.

When I look back at my childhood beat-em-up games, the likes of street of rage, double dragon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or even street figther 1 & 2, you know that feeling of excitement, never getting tired of replaying it and even pushing yourself to perform better. Best when you can't wait for your buddy to come over and play together? I felt none of those here. At it's core, yes the fighting mechanics work great. Different characters have different fighting styles. You can also play co-op now but there are issues with the controls & controllers. Apart from that? Uninteresting gameplay. All I did was mash z and x key from start till the end. I bash up everything from chapter 1 to chapter 7. Nothing else and I didn't even know I was bashing up the "final" boss. What an anti-climax ending/pathetic boss fight. Poor concept/design choice. Skirmish mode? You continue to bash up everything by walking to and back (left and right) endlessly. Enemies are all generic dumb blocks. Might as well turn them into zombies. To say that you get inspiration from classics like final fight and streets of rage? and come out with this kind of product? i somewhat felt insulted. Those classics offered more. offered creativity and variety of enemies. Twist the gameplay. Had Cinematics. Had suspense and tension. Had epic boss fights. No, you have no right to say that. This is far from what the classics offered! If you're going to put that in your product description, then you have to do A LOT MORE BETTER THAN THIS.

Sometimes in life, a person has had enough, whether it's criminals, drug dealers, annoying old people who yell about laws, or their insolent dogs that poop on your doorstep.. When you've had enough of the garbage you become a kick ass guy or gal, or guy that used to be a gal or gal that used to be a guy, or guy that is a girl but ..... (nevermind) walking around just randomly beating people up while you walk down the street .. Male, Female, Greaser, Fast Food Worker, Grandpa or Granma.. it really doesn't matter so long as you can punch them in the face.. I like to envision myself listening to Bittersweet Symphony or Staying Alive while I randomly punch strangers in the face or kick them in the groin.. it's all good baby boy.. The Story Criminals have taken over random city of Urbania (or something else like that) The three main characters are making like Owen Hart and saying enough is enough and it's time for a change.. Gameplay The game is obviously paying homage to classics like Final Fight and Streets of Rage,, even if it didn't say so in the store introduction it would be obvious to anyone who played those games.. If you played those games you understand completely how the gameplay of Urban Justice works.. It delivers nothing new to the genre, nor does it offer up anything unique or different.. The game's storymode is set up of 7 acts.. The game features 3 main characters, they each have 2 of their own acts, and the 7th act lets you choose between the three of them.. It also has a mode called Skirmish Mode which allows you to Endlessly wander down three different locations and fight random enemies and bosses.. (Bosses are just taller, slightly faster with more hp enemies) Skirmish allows you the chance to earn Gold coins to unlock new characters to use ONLY in Skirmish mode.. Pro's Mindless button pressing fun Easy to pick up and play interesting story (albeit very short) Awesome price to content ratio Con's Really short story, as in you can finish the story in likely under an hour.. Wonky controls, sometimes your character will randomly stop walking or jump into the air Glitches (sometimes enemies will just stand still) 2 Grindy achievements, see how I have 9 hours of gameplay,, 8 hours is grinding two achievements I still don't have.. just mindlessly wandering and killing boring horribly AI enemies Recommendations It's hard to be too critical of Urban Justice.. the price tag of 1.99 is super affordable. It delivers little over an hour of unique story content, and depending on how much you like or dislike Skirmish mode the content could be endless.. The game has a few glaring flaws. If it had a bit more story content that would be great, but considering the price the content is OK.. While other better options exist, if you are on a budget or just looking for something to grab for less then a cup of coffee this game is perfect.. I'd recommend buying it as it'll make for a good couple of hours of fun when you're limited on time and it won't break the bank.. Buy the game and trust that it'll offer you a decent return on your investment..

After streets of rage 3 and streets of rage 4 It was The BEST Beat em up Video game :D Hey Developer Please Return back to this project! The Bugs Are a few But it doesnt even matter the gameplay is nice. For those people who are talking about assets. Yes they are published but you have to pay for it and also I think they doesnt had a modeler for this game. What This game needed : Online Skirmish (It already has a local Skirmish u can play with your friend with one keyboard or one keyboard and joystick so dont worry for the joystick u both can play in one keyboard). Online story. Local Co-op story. More stories. More Characters. What game already has : Skirmish ( Local co op and solo ) story mode( solo but I think one campaign can be co op too idk i'll edit it when i finished that.) Some cool characters that you can buy with coins that u earn in game (Skirmish and finishing one epsoide of story mode) Some Cool enemies. Cool combos Cool songs and sound effects. and i think its based on streets of rage The only bad thing is this game isnt online and maybe 2- 4 local player support would make it better? Anyway I suggest it.
