We have a very nice concept here: an extremely retro pixelated survival horror clearly inspired by the first Alien movie. We can find all the hallmarks of Ridley Scott's masterpiece here: motion sensors, flamethrowers, terminals, scuttle procedures, and of course a nice hitchhiker xenomorph who just wants to give us a warm hug. Overall, the gameplay is neatly designed, and the atmosphere manages to fully convey all the unnerving tension of the movie. BUT! I think there is still some work to be done here. And this is normal, since the game is still in early access! For example, the xenomorph can sometimes get stuck into corners or door frames, especially after he has been triggered, and some sections of the first map (I have tried only this one so far) are terribly unbalanced in favor of the xenomorph (if you are in the starting area or in the nearby corridor, without the flamethrower, and the xeno decides to show up, you are automatically dead, since there are no hiding spots, you can do nothing to prevent the game over). You can obviously increase your chance of survival if you play strategically, but I think there is still too much room for sheer luck here, since the sight distance of the xeno is VERY long, he can see you from the other side of the ship if there are no obstacles in between. But still, this is already a very good quality game, very fun and thrilling. I suggest you follow my example and give trust to this dev, I'm sure we will be largely rewarded with some cool additional content in the immediate future. Can't wait to see what the incoming updates will include! I'm so excited I think I'm going to yell... but... I shouldn't... in deep space, no one can hear you scream. Cheers guys!
