This game is a bit of a mixed bag. It's a mini-metroidvania where you find recipes, gather ingredients, and cook them overnight to gain new abilities, unlocking more of the map. However, the lack of guidance and a solid story leaves you feeling lost. The controls are clunky, with some odd design choices like a cooldown on the double-jump, which breaks the flow of gameplay. Enemies, especially the skeletons, feel unfair and frustrating. While the pixel art graphics are nice, they’re wasted on poorly designed tiles and an unfinished feeling.
With only 1.5-3 hours of gameplay and no settings apart from volume, this game feels more like a rough first attempt. It has potential, but as it stands, I can't recommend it.
