Wow! So well done. I really enjoyed Dragons' Twilight I, but Dragons' Twilight II is even better! Classic RGP - a nice story, different characters with different attributes, exploration, a few puzzles, some crafting, good battle system, visible monsters....honestly I thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish. My only negative is that now I've finished the game!

An outstanding sequel. Challenging, long, great quests, plenty of items, crystals, orbs, magic. A truly fun rpg with a great story line. Plenty of weapons and armor that have various characteristics with different abilities to use. Many areas and towns to explore. Highly recommended.

Not as good as number 1. Still entertaining though. It gets better after the first mountain level.

This game is actually really well put together. The encounter system is smart, easy to grind. The weapon/armor modifications and crafting system is super clever, and allows several approaches to each players attack style. Story, characters, and dialog aren't bad surprisingly. Only downside is it looks like there's only ~20 or so hours, as stated in the description too.

Just a few days ago I finished the 1st part and now the 2nd.
This is one of those games where you would like to see more....but at the same time it is good that this story is finished.
The best part is that you don't need excessive grinding.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed Dragons' Twilight II [DT2], but you know...here goes:
Be sure to play DT1 before starting DT2. The story is wonderful and very important to know so you'll better understand the DT2 continuation. I was a bit disappointed with the DT2 storyline at first. It is not as dragon-involved and doesn't have quite the heart that DT1 had. But after getting into the game further a bit, I became enthralled with how the weapons, armor, and magic tomes could be enhanced or rearranged.
One review said DT2 was a "short" game, but for me, it was one of the longest, most mapped-out [by me] and detailed RPGs I've interacted with. I like to draw out many towns and exploration areas/dungeons and keep track of what items/arms are available in each town. And boy, do you do a LOT of traveling in this game! A world map is provided, but it only shows a topographical image. You must know where the towns and passes are through which you travel in order to know what's where on the world map. Be sure to note where you've traveled, too, because you get a bonus if you travel everywhere on the map. [NOTE: I went everywhere else I could go by using the map and just bumping around BEFORE ending up in Six Cities, making that the place where I got my bonus. And the game tells you when you have earned an achievement.]
I loved being challenged to switch out spells and protective gems to prepare for different foes with totally different powers. I enjoyed grinding to earn money [and experience points] for all the items I wanted and skill levels for fights, especially to fight the boss monster at the end. I did have difficulty with one treasure-chest Inferno monster down the blue-globe hallway, but SPOILER ALERT. If you get stuck, "reflect" on what you need to beat the foe.
I always have trouble guessing what the symbols are for the different buffs/damages, and I have to admit that it took me a while to know how to protect my characters for the final boss challenge. I was SO thrilled when I figured it out! YAY! [Then it only took me about 20-30 minutes to win...I am a SLOW player!]
I loved this game and highly recommend it to intermediate and advanced players. Beginners who like a challenge should dive in, too [but remember to play DT1 first, right?!] . Well worth the money!

I'm mixed on this one.
I adored the original, and I still recommend it, but I can't in good faith say that this game maintained the same strengths.
The good things I can say about it are that I enjoy it mechanically as a turn-based RPG, and the new cast of main characters actually have a solid dynamic together, and had potential to really work as the Crux of the game, while simultaneously giving this sequel an independent identity from the first game.
Potential that was not realized, as you're barely through what amounts to a prologue before this game starts bringing back elements from the previous one in a fashion that at it's best makes the game feel like there's a more important and interesting story going on behind the scenes that you aren't seeing, but actually just bogs the game down in lazy sequel writing when you do finally get involved, where this new cast of characters have no motivations of their own except to tie up plot threads from the previous game out of a vague and uninteresting sense of do-goodery that just takes for granted that the player wants it to happen, so of course they're on-board.
It's not aweful, but it's telling that the first time I hit a boss fight that was actually challenging and I didn't know how to beat, I kinda just lost interest. The Story isn't worth pushing forward for, so there's nothing keeping me going once the gameplay is momentarily an obstacle. It might get better down the road, I wouldn't be too badly shocked, but I'm not willing to push through for it.
Damn shame, I was looking forward to this one.

great story - interesting development of story - loved the characters- some battles need a lot of strategy to be able to defeat main bosses- a guide would be helpful as would an overall map
