Word assembling in English
This game will help you learn new words and get to know the language you want to learn. Also it will be very useful for children who want to know what are the names of certain subjects. Stop wasting time on useless entertainment and guide it with the use of making up words and training in recognition of various items. Features: Very entertaining Helps in language learning Contains many thematic categories Very easy to operate Nice graphics

This is a really good word scramble game that I bought on sale for 49 cents. The biggest problem is that most of the words are only three letters, so it is not very challenging. You are just trying to unscramble as many words as you can during the time limit.

Although english runs pretty well, the other languages run really bad with a ton of mistakes, i do not speak them but if you are looking for languages besides english, dont bother.

I like the animations. It would be pretty cool if there were more languages to choose from, I think that would be great for people learning a new language. I do wish you could move around the letters a bit faster though, it is hard to play at a fast speed if that is what you are looking for.

I like the game, it sometimes spells the word right, but besides that, if you're looking to make your brain function very fast I would recommend you give this a try.

"Make a word" is a fun and educational puzzle game that helps in learning languages and new words. I liked the music and thestyle of the game. When you want all achievments you have to play for a short while it counts every word you get right. (easiest way for that are the english animals atleast it was for me) This whole process took me around 0.7hours. I bought it for 0.59 on Sale and it was good for that price. But i dont know if i would buy it for the full price. The game itself was fun, Try it out!

The game doesn't actually have all of the "supported" languages that it lists on the store page (in fact, it only has five, and is missing the key language I actually got this for - Spanish). And even within those languages it does contain they aren't even accurate and contain English words instead of the correct language (IE: French has "eye" for eye instead of the correct "œil"). The language selection should also actually state what language it is instead of trying to play a guessing game of flags.

only English, Russian, French, Italian and Turkish is playable, which is much less than it claims, and is not declared in the introduction.

Ok, here I can't speak for everyone 'cos there's lots of language options for the client (you can choose from English, Italian, Turkish, French, Chinese, Greek.. ok, there's 12 languages total xD) but for what concerns Italian well, it's clearly machine-translated; even though the game of course is intuitive and doesn't need many words and menus, they're all wrong. So, if on one site it's an awesome game for learning new words and new languages in a funny and light-hearted way, in my opinion you'd better start by going in the properties of the game and choose English as the Client language, 'cos really there's not a single sentence in Italian that's written in a proper way xD Apart from this, of course, the core of the game -are- the languages themselves and so you can start it windowed (I suggest windowed mode and low resolution, it'll run even faster and it's best enjoyed on a medium-sized window in my opinion) and you'll be pointed to the main choices of the game: on the left side you'll have to choose the language of your game (currently you can play and learn English, Russian, French, Italian and Turkish) and on the right side there's a rectangular box in which a "theme" can be chosen. This section is a little bit twisted in my opinion, 'cos there's no text and you've got to rely only on an image: there's an image of weather conditions (so your words will be about weather), vegetables, fruits, animals, vehicles and such, but sometimes since there are only four or five elements in the rectangle the theme can be a little bit confusing. Nothing that affects in any way the game itself of course, since it's super fast and you can whenever you feel like go back to the menu and choose another theme. You can also add some more time on the left side if you want, but it's just a small help :) Basically it makes you choose from +30 to +2 the number of additional seconds you'll get when you complete a word! Don't go for +2, trust me :P Then, the core of the game consists of an image - and the graphics are great, very easy to understand and to detect - and scrambled words under it, everything superimposed of a minimal background. On the right upper side there's a clock - your timer - and with your mouse you'll have to re-arrange the letters in order to form the word matching the image. Of course you'll start with 3 letters and then move on with the rounds. The game's all here, but it's great to me and it really makes you think about your English lexic knowledge and learn other languages' most common words! For what concerns the machine-translation, it's not a big problem when it comes to the game itself: I played it for about an hour in Italian and I haven't found many mistakes, even because you're guessing single and precise word that don't need human work to be translated! I'm quite a little bit "angry" for what concerns the game page and similar stuff, since they offer an extensive explanation if you go through a non-English Steam client but.. it's completely wrong, everything.. for sure, nothing has been checked by native speakers since errors are quite big and compromise also the comprehension of the game hub page. Verbs are completely wrong, and even to me it's quite difficult to get everything in what's supposed to be my native tongue, apart from my academical degrees in fields dealing also with the Italian languages, like history and such. So I think it's better to keep everything in English and leave the languages you want to learn for the objects in game only. So, back to the game, what you see in the users' screenshots and in the store hub it's what you'll get - lots of simple, cartoonish images and lots of scrambled words to put together! Before finishing my review I'd like just to add something else: the game came out (at least here on Steam) just two or three months ago and I saw some posts in the discussion page that were rightly asking to someone (zero answers so far) if the game has planned to add other languages, 'cos as I said before you get only Italian, English, French, Turkish and Russian for what concerns in-game play, but the hub store talks about 12 languages that so far are only available for the client and nothing else. So, I don't know if more languages will be added in the future for the game itself, but if they will be they'll be added in the same manner that Italian, French and so on have been added, so it will be awesome :) The pictures are always the same ones (there's a lot of them though, so you can learn lots of words xD) and only the language changes, so if they'll add say, Spanish or Chinese in the future, the system will be the same for sure - pictures, and under them words to put in their proper way. In the end, if you like word games and if you wanna learn or improve your knowledge of one of these five languages, this game is really recommended and I hope they'll add new languages in the future, even though to me English and French are more than enough being definitely not born for learning foreign languages ahahah :)
