Terrible port. Poor performance, audio bugs, unresponsive controls, it's just no good. It's sad that Earthworm Jim, one of Ravendove's (the father) favorite and most memorable games from his childhood ended up being the very first negative review we've ever left on Steam.

I love the Earthworm Jim series, I really do. Now Im gonna say a few good things and a few bad things. Good: So far for me everything works just fine. I havent had any music or screen tearing. Controls are fine too (if you play DOS pure) if not Ctrl-F1 for keymapper. So technically yes you CAN USE A GAMEPAD!!! Just link the controls for the game to your gamepad....or joystick if that old. Bad: 640x480 256 Colors...I get it its an old version for DOS but cut me a break. I'm sure you can tweak the DOSbox options (notepad options) for a larger res, but really? WHY THE HELL NOT?!: As my memory serves there was a Special CD Edition that added a new level or two, added better Gravis Gamepad support and had CD quality music...Maybe there was an issue with porting the CD version over? Whatever your take on the game based on software, just know for me it will always be a classic. (Why didnt they port the CD Version of Pitfall the Mayan Adventure ether??)

This makes me sad because I love the original games. This is the DOS version and not the SNES or Genesis version. Whatever they're doing here to try and run the game doesn't work. There are a lot of issues with this, like the music not working. And somehow this is one of the more functional games in this collection. You could probably complete the game in this state, but it's fucking horrible. Don't buy this.
