The artwork is nice, although it is in a tall, phone-like aspect ratio. The voice acting was fine. The sound is serviceable, but the music is a bit repetitive—I shut it off.
The gameplay is passable, but somewhat limited in scope: after solving two combination lock puzzles with the exact same kind of clue, I got fed up and quit. Also, if you brute-force a solution before you find the clue, a message pops up indicating that you've made a sequence break. Kind of immersion killing.
All in all, I would not recommend [i]Zombie Treasure Island[/i]. There are many similar games out there with more engaging stories, and more involved and varied gameplay.
