Garbage asset flip, Nonsensical mechanics mixed with clunky controls and the content depth of a petri dish. Don't buy this.

The game is boring and the monster is too sensitive to ambient microphone noise on the lowest difficulty with sound detection

Yall should try soundpad or voicemod. Also if u didn't knowu can bug it pressing x+w at the same time to do dancing run. This is only way u can replay this shit way more than one time. try to play not only with your friends, but with your friends on public servers cuz u can get way more fun with many people on the map. Play rem mode, it gives u random entity on any map u want and also I can say that school and asylum monsters are the weakiest, I mean they also have less bugs on diff maps.
🤫u can goon on a monster while running out of it🤫

I am generally a huge fan of games like this. To the point one of the favorite genres my friends and I play are what we lovingly refer to as "5 dollar jank" and we have put a lot of time into games in a similar price point and similar horror themes, usually with great enjoyment.
I've played enough games in this niche that it was easy to spot several assets and ideas this games uses that have appeared in other games and the single biggest things holding this one back is the terrible sound design.
If you're going to have a game center around avoiding a creature with super hearing the player needs to be able to tell with pinpoint accuracy where the enemy is by sound alone (while wearing headphones) and this game does not deliver that. Specific distance or even what floor the enemy is on can be maddeningly difficult to determine and this single flaw is egregious and alone makes the game nigh unplayable.
Other issues the devs need to take a serious look at if the game is to be enjoyable are:
* The creature needs some kind of cool down period between kills. As it plays right now it can steamroll through an entire team of players if they're grouped together too closely.
* There needs to be some kind of consistency to how the creature responds to the sound of thrown objects. Distracting the creature with the sound of throwing a brick, a glass, etc should be a core mechanic and sometimes the creature will respond as expected and go investigate the new sound, other times it will ignore it and make a beeline for the player who threw it even if they weren't in line of sight.
This game has potential but I can't recommend it unless there is a major overhaul in the sound design and attempts to balance the difficulty to something that resembles fun for the player. As it is right now you can complete a mission with enough tedious effort but it's not remotely fun.
PANICORE

Positives:
+ Very nice graphics, shadow and lighting effects
+ Good sounds
+ Creepy atmosphere
+ Cooperative mode
+ In-game voicechat
+ Fun to play (mainly in coop)
+ Cool lobby with mini-games
+ Achievements
+ Unlockable characters
+ Random spawning items
+ Well made maps to explore
+ Each map has two possible exits
+ Puzzles
+ A lot of options and adjustments are available
+ Low price
Negatives:
- The voice volume adjuster is very difficult to get right (its almost impossible to find the perfect spot)
- Most of the monsters are goofy looking
- What triggers them feel random at times
- Anything higher than easy/medium difficulty gets quite annoying (especially if you are less than four players)
- The monsters can sometimes find and kill you even if you do everything right (completely in silence, hiding, standing still, crouched and the flashlight switched off, which makes no sense)
- A few bugs
- Not enough maps (only six are available atm)
Conclusion:
I can understand some of the critisism the game's got, because the voice-activator and the AI's a hit and miss.
And getting killed several times because of this problem is no fun.
Luckily there are a lot of adjustments available, so if you got the time and patience, you'll sooner or later find out what works for you.
So if you're willing to try and fail, you'll eventually succeed.
And it pays off, because at its best its very creepy and entertaining.
The best maps are by far the asylum and the snowbound map.
And it looks like the developer is still periodically updating the game with new levels, and thats great.
Total Score: 7.5/10

NB!
I reccommend to start with easy difficulty and three lives to begin with.
After you get the hang of the game you can change to one life and/or medium difficulty.
Anything higher than that is just no fun.
PS!
In the military base map you have to listen the sounds when the monster's about to arrive, and then immediately look at it till it disappears after a moment. And make sure to have a little distance to it, because otherwise it could easily kill you when the small blackouts happen.
