Gripping story and great characters and twists

Just finished one playthrough of the game, intend to do another with different choices. I came here after Telltale's The Walking Dead, but without much expectations. This game was really impressive to me, despite thinking I wouldn't like the concept. It drew me in with both a good story and a unique art style. Highly recommend.

One of the best games ever, and the sequel should be released here in 2025. Over ten years after the first one. It'll be hard to match the first game, just look at the reviews. It's like an interactive movie and replayable because the choices you make affect the storyline and ending, so you can play it again and have a slightly different story. Pretty much a 10/10. Very polished and well done game

A great interactive story. Really enjoyed this and I would recommend anyone to play this if you enjoy whoddunits with lots of action and thrills

telltales' best work. leaves you wanting more, wheres the next episode?? ffs. its not a "game" in the traditional sense, its more interactive animated comic and this one is good enough to be interesting to people who wouldn't necessarily try games like this.

Can't believe this game was released 13 years ago, not even today you can find a game with this quality of dialogue tracking and consequence driven story. Finishing this game once or twice wont really do it justice, you can literally have an amazing story that will shock you every time you play it and it is just amazing, it is a different game unlike anything i've ever played. I would definitely put this game in a museum and save it for the generations to come cause i'm sure not even in year 2050 we can find anything like it. Can't really praise it enough just play it and you will see what i mean.

This is a game that truly deserves a sequel, and I’m thrilled that Telltale has made a comeback. Hopefully, they can build on the vision of it. Overall, The Wolf Among Us remains faithful to the vision of the comics especially in its world-building and character development, TT interwines these aspects masterfully with its signature storytelling style. I can confidently say this is the best game they have ever made. It’s a shame I played it so late. If you’re hesitating to give it a try like I did for some reason, I strongly encourage you to play it. Unlike Heavy Rain and other point-and-click adventure murder mystery games, this one takes a fresh and unique approach to the genre. Bigby isn’t just another cliché, drunk, miserable cop. Based on your decisions, you truly feel like an important member of the Fable community and he proves to be more than a competent detective. Rather than simply focusing on unraveling a twist, the game lets you shape the main conflict in ways that have a major impact—not just on Bigby himself, but on the entire city. This is what makes Bigby such a special and compelling character, you can truly feel the weight of his decisions, whether you choose to help others or ruin their lives.

First off; it runs beautifully on Steam Deck Secondly; Absolutely wonderful game. Can’t believe it took me this long to play it. The story and premise are fantastic and the choice and consequence can really be felt throughout the entire experience. Fun fun fun murder mystery.

Just 2 hours into the game and it become my top 10 most favourite game of all time, it is even better than walking dead in my opinion it is must play game for story and action type player

insane game, its one of those story games that gets you hooked no matter if its an old one, graphics are clean and easy to run on a low end device which is the reason i played this game , optimization is a 10/10. W telltale
