Sometimes the war is too crowded on the planet. And then she decides to embroider. The war is already in space.

3 crashes on the second level. It was a fun and simple game but I just can't proceed with it crashing.

I had already forgotten about the Lord of the Click series.
Once I got one of them, sat the whole evening and knocked out all the achieves.
In general, everything is simple and straightforward. Kicking back waves of enemies, simultaneously pumping various skills. The game - to relax in the evening.
Praise the developer for not making pixelated graphics, as is fashionable, and draws a nice picture.

I honestly left this with a frustrated feeling. Nearly every battle can be won by spamming the same unit or same power. The beginning of each battle was the only difficult part I felt, as you pick from a random assortment of starting units and powers and some of those are far too slow for the start of a match. Once you start making gold, however, it becomes the exact same thing you did in the previous maps. A fast forward button would have been really nice.
The ui is difficult to handle if you are using mouse and keyboard. Units and powers are highlighted when you mouse over them, not when you click on them, so you can easily bump and highlight the wrong power without realizing it until it's too late. There are no keybinds assigned to units, as far as I could tell, so there wasn't a way around that without using a controller. The controller rumbles with every single character deployment, so I had unplugged it a while ago. Further, you dont even have to click the boxes to use units, once it is highlighted you can just click the field to use it. This is another point of frustration, as accidental clicks just waste resources.
The tutorial assumes you pick a power that costs fuel to start with, but as I picked a passive upgrade, the tutorial prompt telling me to spend fuel (the resource for powers) never went away until I managed to navigate around the prompt and unlock a fuel-using power. The powers themselves don't always work correctly, in many cases the area of effect was directly IN FRONT of the area the power displayed. Further, shooting units who have managed to finish all enemies and are waiting for a new wave to spawn will, upon the new wave spawning, simply walk into the enemies rather than shooting them. This is extremely frustrating.
The UI is a pain to look at. There's little spacing between text, and names and powers are wildly inconsistent in capitalization and punctuation. Some names are capitalized, some all lower case, and some are all in upper case.
Given that this is at least this dev's fourth game, I'm very surprised at issues like this. I enjoyed it for the first twenty minutes, but eventually I only finished it out of a since of commitment, and I figured it couldn't be too long. I don't mean to just dump on a game, but it just left me feeling... frustrated, even at a sale price. I would put the money into a different cheap game.

Game is fun but not very difficult and you'll find the same strategy to work on all levels. But it isn't too long either and pretty cheap, so it suited me nicely. 7 / 10
