Definitely a fun game. Pretty chill and you can play it how you want. Fast paced or leisurely just letting the money roll in.

I am facing issue when I start the game. Showing some kind of popup and close the game. Could you please help me? I can't post the popup screenshot but I'm add the text here. "TrainWorld - Unity 6000.0.32f1_b2e806cf271c"

If I could give this a neutral rating I would. The bones of it are good but it needs some work. The UI is ok but not particularly intuitive. The graphics are last generation and little things like clicking on a train and getting all its info instead on needing to open a separate window(s) would be helpful. Also, it would Very be helpful if which wagons can transport which goods was more obvious i.e. do my sugar beets go in a gondola or boxcar, things like that. The game has potential but needs some work. All said I'd suggest putting it on your wish list and wait the devs make some necessary improvements.

Terrible tutorial, terrible track snapping, no explanation of how you're supposed to start a setup or advance, better games out there do the same thing much more smoothly and enjoyably.

OK. After a short time spent I can say, I finally found train transportation game what I always wanted. It is hidden gem. It contain many quality of life features which help you manage all on once. It's usually pain in this type of game but here it is solved. And I like that trains have some physics and it feel realistic. I can't wait for many hour spend in this game.

It's a nice game, dev is very active. Give it a day or two to learn then you be right. Love the long distance maps.

A rail builder that legitimately has something unique and different to offer rather than yet another Transport Tycoon Deluxe clone. The main distinguishing feature is that the world is BIG. Largest map size is 133x133km, and the settlements/industries are all at least a few kilometers apart from one another. This is a bigger deal than it might sound like on paper. Most rail builders feel CRAMPED. A cloverleaf junction is as big as a damn city, and takes up a third of the space between two points of interest, and you can't even hardly fit a full railyard with such as sidings for queuing. In this you have all the space you could want. You can make much more realistic feeling layouts than you can in most games. A few other things of note here. I largely consider these points as positive but ymmv. -No buses, trucks, boats or planes. At least not in your fleet. We train boys. -No catchment areas! A station in city limits will serve the whole city. This feeds into the having space and freedom thing. -Reputation mechanic that pressures you to serve every available city-to-city passenger link with high QOS. This becomes a contrasting goal to being profitable which is interesting/challenging. -World is divided into regions that each have one capital and 3-4 other cities. You unlock new regions as you progress. It seems like the aforementioned reputation mechanics drove this, otherwise you would be crushed by the number of passenger connections to service if the full map was available from the start. -Freight trains are forced ro-ro, and in a cool detail I haven't seen before they actually crawl through loading/unloading stations slowly, loading one car at a time. -One-time contracts that make you set up a point-to-point route for just one run, but pay way more than a normal freight delivery. These are a crucial source of funds in the earlygame, but I can see them becoming not worth the player's time as the company gets big. I've lost like half my discretionary time to this in the couple days since I bought it, so I guess that's a big recommend. It does have some UI quirks that will annoy and frustrate you, but that's to be expected from a complex indie game. I had one frustrating bug relating to passenger transfers when I first started playing, so I posted a thread in the steam forum asking what I was doing wrong, woke up the next morning to find the dev had replied saying he found and fixed the bug I was hitting. Which he had; I updated the game and didn't have the problem anymore. Really nice to see that level of dev responsiveness.
