So I would like to start my review with the only con I noticed which was the fact that walking got really tedious after a while. I liked the addition of the dog being able to sprint but I think it would be really nice if the human characters could run with a stamina bar. (Like the circle bar that's in breath of the wild etc. you get the drill)
Other than that I really like the concept.
Black and white aesthetic is always a treat, and it was executed really well here.
I really liked the foreground of silhouettes. But I feel like they could have been in a high resolution since you could clearly see the pixels on them. It's kind of nitpicking but could enchance the experience if fixed.
I think it's a fun murder mystery game, you shouldn't be expecting a mechanic heavy game-play here as it is more of a story you follow through to piece together bits about the story you would be learning as you play through the game yourself. I would say give it a shot and see it yourself. It has potential for sure but some quality of life fixes would be perfect.
Also the crows were cool but I think shadows of 3 crows kinda got stuck on the ground when I scared them off.
Music: 8/10 nothing special but fits the theme
Gameplay: 6/10 walking was tedious but other than that pretty smooth
Concept: 9/10 Love it. Swapping bodies is fun
Art: 8.5/10 it does well with the silhouette and grey mood, good choice for an indie-game :)
Dog: 10/10 you can pet the dog
YOU CAN PET THE DOG

I'm not sure i can recommend this one. While it has a certain charm to it. The English translation is pretty bad. There is a quest log in game that just sort of... stops after a while. Exhausting all dialog trees gets you hints on who might be suspects but I can't figure out how to actually properly fi is this game. I got ending 1 and 2. Another reviewer mentioned a third ending involving the dog dying that is attached to an achievement, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to trigger it, and there are no guides or video walkthroughs anywhere on the internet. This is usually where I'd write one myself but I don't know how to figure this mystery out. There's some person I haven't met yet (person with briefcase in the same spot Pavlov shows up in I saw in one of the trailers, but haven't figured out how to get them to appear, and thus can't get the 'research all characters' achievement.
There is also one of these pointlessly long achievements to spend 1000 hours in the neighborhood. However with my inability to find the last NPC and figure out how the dog dies I actually DID spent 1000 in game hours. And still have no idea about these last 2 achievements.
EDIT: OK I figured out ending 3. I was playing on the steam deck, and only bound the keys it told me to in the tutorial. Turns out there's another button. I found out one of the buttons was SHIFT in the quest log it tells you the dog can run, but it doesn't tell you that the dog can JUMP. I bound SPACEBAR to another key and found out the dog can jump and now I found out how to kill the dog for ending 3. I still don't know who the last person I did not research is...
EDIT2: The programmers have confirmed to me on discord that the research achievment is indeed glitched, and it has not been fixed 2 months later.

When I saw the game, I was fascinated by the concept. I mean, we are a soul and we have to die for our freedom. We keep living the same day and we have to be in a body that will die at the end of the day. I entered the game after the good impression the concept made on me. The gray environment and silhouette people created by the game drew me into the atmosphere. I especially liked the dog part.
It should not be forgotten that the game is not for everyone. If you are looking for mechanics and action, you are in the wrong place, friends, but I think mystery and atmosphere lovers should at least take a look.

A nice and relaxing game, and eventhough it does not have textures, it really grasp the atmosphere of Noir. Artistically it looks great, and in terms of dialogues and detective work it is interesting. I only wish characters walked a bit faster. Hopefully they change it in the upcoming updates.
A nice experience for the price point.

I'm torn because the idea of finding out a murder mystery from the perspective of different souls is super cool. I do wish however that there was a setting adjusting graphics. I can't actually tell though if its my laptop (which is brand new) or the actual game itself. Movement is a hassle. Long after the character stops they slide across the floor a few feet. I end up more often than not, missing a door simply because I can't stop the movement of the character. Definitely something I'm gonna try and boot up on the gaming computer, just to see if there's better playability there.
10/10 for story idea and concept overall. I gave this a thumbs up simply because if you have a decent computer, it'll run the game. For a game that looks basic relatively, I find it surprising I couldnt run it well here. Give it a shot, but if the walking seems laggy, that might just be the game.

Swapping bodies mechanic is kinda cool. I also liked music and artstyle. But story was not that good. I got all the endings (there are 3 endings if i'm not mistaken) but it didnt satisfy me. Ok, u solve a murder mystery but there is no option to prevent it. U just find who will die. That's it. And walking is just tedious after loop 10. Also "The Finder" achievement is unobtainable due to a bug.
Overall Score: 5/10.

There is potential, and the premise is interesting. You walk around talking to everyone with different characters, mapping out what kind of relationship the characters have with each others. The goal is to determine who is going to be the murder victim, rather than the killer, and then be that person at the time of the murder in order to free your soul and escape the time loop.
The execution is lacking. The characters walk around very slowly, which is annoying due to the time limit. A run button would be appreciated-. And even when you discover the right person and get freed, you still go back to the start of the loop. That might have worked, if it was the next day and you had to figure out the next victim, as if everyone would get picked off one by one by the killer, but it is literally the same day and the same mystery. Finding out the murder victim was actually very simple (spoilers): Once you get out of your house, just keep transferring to the next person available, and it's the last one. There's little logic involved and no need to talk to anybody, as the murder happens automatically. There could have been some prerequisite puzzle that needs to be solved, before a murder can happen, so you couldn't just try every character to see if they die. Maybe the murderer couldn't find a gun, unless you provide him with a one. Or maybe he doesn't want to kill you, unless he's been told that you know too much. After all, you're the soul that wants to get free, so you should earn it.
Note that one of the endings includes killing the dog, and you even get an achievement for it.
The English translation is lacking and has some inconsistencies, which is kind of a huge deal when everything is text based.
Toteutus on puuttellinen. Hahmot kävelevät ympäriinsä erittäin hitaasti, mikä on ärsyttävää rajallisen ajan vuoksi. Juoksunappi olisi arvostettu.
