The game improves actively I'm very impressed. the note-hitting system (collision )has some glitches. there're still some notes slipping through the slicer blade (about 2 per 10 notes).
DREAMVIBE
---{Graphics}--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☑ Beautiful ☐ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don’t look too long at it ☐ Paint.exe Details: It’s a beautiful game, the blade animation is so satisfying. The note explosion and blade tails are clean. Backgrounds are cool but maybe add a bit of customization like color, etc. ---{Gameplay}--- ☐ Very good ☑ Good ☐ It’s just gameplay ☑ Mehh ☐ Starring at walls is better ☐ Just don’t ---{Audio}--- ☑ Eargasm ☐ Very good ☐ Good ☐ Not too bad ☐ Bad ☐ Earrape Details: Did I really need to justify myself on it? ---{Audience}--- ☐ Kids ☐ Teens ☐ Adults ☑ Human ---{PC Requirements}--- ☐ Check if you can run paint ☑ Potato ☑ Decent ☐ Fast ☐ Rich boiiiiii ☐ Ask NASA if they have a spare computer Details: I didn’t get any problem to run this game, but I’ve not tried on a “potato” Pc. But, as I’ve seen on the other reviews, it’s running quite good on low comp PC. ---{Difficulty}--- ☐ Just press A ☐ Easy ☐ Significant brain usage ☑ Easy to learn / Hard to master ☐ Difficult ☐ Dark Souls Details: I saw people say, “horrible controls”, “I’m struggling with blade control”, etc. I’ve struggled a lot on the first hours on this game but as a big rhythm games player I’ve learned how to control it quite quickly. I recommend the no energy mode and the slicer blade mode for new players. ---{Story}--- ☑ Story? ☐ Text or Audio floating around ☐ Average ☐ Good ☐ Lovely ☐ It‘ll replace your life ---{Game Time}--- ☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee ☐ Short ☐ Average ☐ Long (It will depend on your level) ☑ To infinity and beyond Details: As all rhythm games, you can play to the infinity as long as you have music and maps. ---{Price}--- ☐ It’s free! ☑ Worth the price ☐ If u have some spare money left ☑ Not recommended ☐ You could also just burn your money Details: I think this game is worth the price for players like me, for fans of rhythm games but I recommend you to don’t buy it if you don’t have much money and your not a rhythm game player. ---{Bugs}--- ☐ Never heard of ☑ Minor bugs ☐ Can get annoying ☐ ARK: Survival Evolved ☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs
Note : 8.5/10
It’s a cool game as I’ve said earlier. But, it’s an easy to learn but hard to master game. You will probably struggle a lot with blade control on the firsts hours but when you got it, it’s only pleasure. There are nice graphics, a nice song quality, an auto mapper, etc. If you don’t want to struggle or master the classic blade, use the slicer blade (like in fruit ninja) and the no energy mode. I’ve tried the map editor, but it sadly doesn’t work for me (idk if it’s only me but it’s really bugged). At least the auto mapper is really good; I’ve tried many types of music like rap (not a good idea, notes doesn’t fit well), Nightcore (notes fit well), Kawaii future bass (really random, sometimes work well sometimes not), Hardcore (notes fit well), ---------. So, if you like rhythm game like Osu and you have a bit of money, buy it ! But just know that, you can find other rhythm games for a lower prize (it’s a bit expensive I agree, maybe 8-10$ would be better) but this one is the most beautiful I’ve found. Maybe not the easier or the funniest but it’s still enough for an early access game like this one. I hope the devs could improve all the blades control and fix all collision bugs as well as rework the map editor and after that the game would be pretty good. Things that can devs add later: - Multiplayer - Achievements - Improve auto mapper to make all notes fit better - More initial maps - Rework the map editor I hope I could help you a bit in this game development! PS: I’m using a wired Razer Mamba Elite 800-16000 DPI

Would love to reccomend this, as the "mouse saber" genre is just not good yet, but this game isnt quite there. mapping for default songs has a lot of notes that don't flow well (non auto generated maps should have cool patterns and nice flow instead of random feeling), and a lot of notes that don't line up with previous notes (aka a note on the kick drum, and then a note on a totally different instrument instead of the next drum hit, but close enough to the next drum hit to feel weird) overall a lot of potential but not a good game yet.

Game seems cool and all, but the lag makes it pretty much unplayable. Will probably refund and consider picking this up at a later time.

After playing for 9 hours i can say that the game idea is very good along with the graphics and audio, im sure that if the devs continue dropping updates and fixing some bugs the game will become one of the best rhythim games ever. In my opinion 8/10 (it lags a bit)

+ The game's idea is neat + Simple UI + Easy to dive into + Pretty nice visuals, I especially like the smoke effect after slashing a note - THE BLADE... as somebody has already mentioned, the blade feels very awkward to swing and slice with. It behaves like there is a weight to it. Sometimes when I swung I completely missed the arrow notes, sometimes I got instant X. I went through the mouse sensitivity and the in-game mouse position sensitivity, fiddled with it. However, I didn't reach a point where I felt like it improved anything for me. Could we get an in-game cursor with dope visuals that would act like a blade, instead (I kind of agree with the person who has mentioned Fruit Ninja). - Some songs when importing, they weren't playable, just silence, instant D rank. - Imported songs have white background As an EA title, we can expect things to change.

The game looks good, I just find the controls are a miss for me personally. I don't find it intuitive enough to just pick up and play and be decent at it. But the game looks cool, and maybe if I play with settings I could get it working better, but I haven't tried. Also I would like to see them add Spotify support, that would be something that would go a long way for me personally, but I don't know what the devs would have to do for that to happen, so I'm not holding my breath, but if they could strike a deal that would be cool. EDIT: I tried the game again today, and would like to say I had much more fun and the controls felt a lot smoother to me, I think I was to quick to judge when I originally wrote this review. The blade movement felt a lot smoother this time and I never changed any setting, I think I picked too hard of a song when I first played, or I just needed to get a lil more familiar with the blade movement and timing. Just wanted to say I think I was too quick to say the controls were off when maybe I just needed a few more minutes with the game.
