After spending roughly 8 hours immersed in this game (according to Steam), I can confidently say this game is nothing short of heart-warming. It’s a story-driven experience that pulls you in with its rich narrative and keeps you hooked with chapter-ending cliffhangers and tons of plot twists. Every chapter leaves you wanting more, and by the time the credits roll, you’re left with an emotional weight that’s hard to shake off.
This game was first recommended to me by a dear friend years ago, but only now have I truly understood its depth and significance. It’s a tale about inescapable fates, love, bravery, and so much more, things I can’t fully explain without spoiling. It’s not just a story; it’s a life lesson wrapped in an unforgettable journey. I’ll say this much: take your time with it, savor every moment, and be prepared to cry like I did.
Also have to mention one of the standout features of this game is their wonderful soundtrack. The music perfectly complements the story, adding layers of emotion to every scene. My favorite track, Daybreak, is a bittersweet melody that reminds me of the friend who introduced me to this game. Sad yet serene is one way to describe the track, much like the story itself.
Addressing the gameplay. If you’re seeking action-packed sequences or combat-heavy mechanics, this isn’t that kind of game. It’s a narrative-focused journey where the story takes center stage, and that’s where its beauty lies. The pacing, the twists, and the profound messages make it a memorable experience.
This game really reminded me on how important time is and how we take for granted the things that we have now. It's just good to be aware that we only have one life and we get no redos in life so we have to live to our fullest and take all our chances with what we love.
All in all, this is a heartwarming and thought-provoking experience that will stay with you. Enjoy and live every moment.
