The game is fucking terrible to play.
I had bought it on sale, and even then it's not worth buying this game.
The gameplay isn't clear, the assets are stolen as well
The creatures you're up against isn't fair either.
I would not recommend to buy this game at all.

With Horror Squad being on sale for just over £1.00, I enjoyed my time playing this with a few friends and getting the achievements. Despite only one map, I'd say you get your money's worth here. The gameplay loop was fine, similar to other co-op games with finding keys, ritual items, healing items, and clues/interactions to progress the quest. You can also find weapons and ammo to defend yourself and temporarily knock down the enemies patrolling around the map.
However, the game does have critical issues that ruined the experience. Firstly, if you get caught while reading a note, the game will soft-lock as the note cannot be closed. Secondly, one enemy is patrolling the map before you enter the main area so there is a chance you will be attacked - really unfair. Finally, throughout our two or three rounds, the enemies did sometimes get stuck and this made it easier to finish the quest. The game is no longer getting updates.
Overall, for the very small cost, I'd hesitantly recommend this to a group of friends who are looking for a cheap co-op horror game with 1-2 hour experience.
Verdict: 5 / 10
