Great factory game, up there with Factorio/Satisfactory/Dyson Sphere Program

Actually fantastic, perfectly scratches that Factorio style automation itch. In-game programming system is quite intuitive. Very fun, coop works flawlessly, would recommend!

I wanted to like it, they put a lot of effort in, but the programming is too infuriating to anyone who knows real software

Great game. Similar to Factorio in the overall attitude, but entirely different in the detail. No belts, and yet a factory ;)

I cant recommend this game enough! It's a factory game, but the focus is not on the production lines, but on the AI you create in order to run the factory. I have played for just over 80 hours, and I am still unlocking new things that completely change how I solve things. And even with that, I have things unlocked that I haven't event tested yet the could potentially change how I set up the transport flows. The only thing I would like to see improved is the lack of descriptions of the behavior nodes, they are not always that intuitive.

"beltless factorio" absolutely great game, great ideas, great development progress this is new kind of factory genre game, that will swirl your brain around like new factory player again, but in different method than regular factory games the game might still in Early Access, but the game development all this years has been very promising i can wait for further contents, more QoLs, and more optimization along the line, than a rushed but messy development progress . PROS : - super newbie friendly for new factory players --- even if you dont have coding skills to "code" the "circuit logic" (behavior controller), you still can progress normally - simple controls - the "belts" can think of themself, even you can mount guns or strap a factories into your "belts" - even you can customized the factory buildings in modular ways - the real "circuit logic" (behavior) that actually a complete feature, and not necessary to use except for advanced purposes, instead of lack of features to be necessary to use "circuit logic" - GREAT storylines, many mysteries to be unlocked, even give you reality check vibes - a truly GREAT belt-less experiences i ever got from any factory games - the devs micro-manage the development and community engagement (which VERY rare nowadays) . CONS : - (Not really a cons honestly) still in Early Access, so = --- less contents --- less QoLs --- less optimization --- need more time to wait, of course... (dont force the chefs rush their cooking, then complain why the food is bland and under-cooked) - dunno man, this is great game and great ideas, just wait until its finished

A great game that blends RTS and Logistics Games... but needs WAY better tutorials Other reviews say you need behaviors to solve everything, but that isn't the case. Usually, the right combination of components and setting the right stuff in the unit UI will get most things done... Or structuring the units correctly. However, if you are not interested in making behaviors this game may not be for you. The tutorial also fails to mention you can save "prefabs/blueprints" to a personal Library so that way you can automate making custom units. If the idea of customizing your units in a meaningful way to solve problems sounds fun, this game is for you. Expect to invest 2-4 hours of learning to get into the depth of the game, using both in-game tutorials and out-of-game tutorials.

The control and logistic scheme is annoying and bot 'programming' is done with spaghetti nodes. Making buildings is tedious and there is no apparent way to automatically manufacture depending on demand that I have found. The logistics network generally does a poor job, and the UI makes the game appear far more complicated than it actually is, Doing literally anything is a PITA. This is supposed to be a factory / programming game I think but struggling to find those elements in the swamp of obtuse design.

I like the concept of the game. The early game is great, but it gets really difficult to scale. There are behaviors that can be programmed into the bots, but you have to go to YouTube to figure out how anything actually works. I would have much preferred a programming scheme like Autonauts, where it's very clearly defined what your bots are doing in the world, and if a bot is stuck, you can see immediately where it is on the logic chain. I really like to dig into production chains, but I spent more time micromanaging my resource collectors than anything else. Fewer resource nodes with higher resource counts for default settings would help immensely with this. It's also frustrating to know that there are hidden recipes for converting items and bots, but no information in-game on how to gather them. The research tree has nodes requiring resources that you haven't unlocked yet, but won't tell you what they are. Overall, I think the biggest problem with this game for me is that I expected a production game with a side of exploration, but it really feels like an exploration game with a side of production.
