Loads of bugs and problems mar this. It needed better acting, animation and more play testing.

I’m guessing most of this game is made up of Unreal4 asset packs that the author purchased. Nothing wrong with that on its own, Surv1v3 and Zero Caliber use a bunch of pre-made assets and those games are fantastic, but this game feels like a high schooler’s class project. I’m guessing the asset store had a WW2 pack, a modern suburb and a future city, so the devs worked in a time travel plot and at one point you kill Hitler. The guns don’t animate at all when you shoot them, they all seem to have the same attributes and the magazine capacity is all over the place from their real-world counterparts. The floor is about shin-height for me with no way to adjust, no graphics settings either. The menu buttons still have the Unreal4 engine logos on them. I’m not going to hunt down the actual asset packs used here but someone could if they cared enough. The author here is lucky Jim Sterling doesn’t play VR. The game isn’t actually all bad, the writing and voice acting is kinda fun. The reload system is basic but effective. The friendly AI works. It’s way too short tho and too basic to charge $10. I realize the audience for VR is still growing and a lot of games are small teams who rely on buying assets but this game just doesn’t have the effort put into it to justify a serious purchase, there are much, much better games available for free.

Like everyone else, I was looking for something to kill time until Half Life Alyx comes out. This game is so bad it's actually hilarious. Sensitivity is non existent so get used to running at 200 mph. You're about 2 ft shorter than everyone else in the game. The story is comparable to grade school a daydream. There is really no difference between the different weapon tiers. Too bad, because I actually enjoyed the cartoon-esque maps (besides clipping in and out of buildings). For $10, don't expect a great game. Enjoy it for how horrendous it is.
