simple and tough, i think you must find balance between farming/progression before time runs out. everytime i die it always comes out of left field. never seen it coming. More like Chaos Rocks! The choice of starting craft are abysmal, clearly this game was only made around the first craft choice. they have "stats" like different hp or speed, with the game collision is a nightmare pinball. Anyways Steam does not count this game in your library totals at this time or achievements to your totals.
safe for kids

Exactly what it says on the tin - roguelike Asteroids. Rarely you'll wipe out just from bad luck, but I did say "roguelike." Keyboard+mouse almost a must, dual-axis controller not quite fast enough.

A very nice take on the classic asteroids gameplay, packed with powerups and lots of different asteroids that call for a somewhat strategic approach.
It's unforgiving in a roguelike permadeath manner, but you get a nice feeling of progression as you understand better how to handle different kinds of sectors, what kind of equipment to look for in priority, and how to handle steering and shooting to maximize your survival.
Pretty good look on feel and great music!
All in all a nice coffee break game which you can pick up for a run or two for 5 to 20 min, depending on how skilled you are/have become.
Runs great on Linux :)

I love the splash of rouge like in my asteroids. It takes a game I'd be done with in 5 minutes and makes it last for hours. Looking forward to unlocking the other ships and facing the challenge of completing a whole run. Can't go wrong with the tight gameplay considering the price.
