I had great fun playing this game when it actually worked, as it did a great job of simulating the feeling of throwing actual real darts. But as the game doesn't even load anymore, I don't recommend purchasing it.

I am extremely disappointed. I was really looking for a VR Dart game with my favorite game Cricket, and this game wont even work its totally broken. I can get into the game, but I cant pick up or control anything. Here is the thing. I have a Valve Index VR Kit, and this game will not support Valve Index. And from what I understand it only supports the 7 year old Oculus Rift VR kit. If it cant support some of the newest and most adaptable and reliable VR Kits out today, then what is the point? Every single other VR game I buy, even the old ones, support Valve Index. Not this one. I am sorry I cannot recommend this at all, not until they can support other VR rigs out there other than a 7 year old Oculus RIft.

So happy to see a Darts game in VR. There are a few of them available but this one is the most authentic in look and play of the lot based on me watching trailers and video for all the ones that are available. This game came out of early release just last week and the developers have been super about responding to issues and feedback. There are a few venues to choose from and you can fully customize your darts. There is a Free Throw mode, 301 and 501 available. In 301, you have to double on and off, in 501, you just have to double off. Cricket is an option in the menu but not available yet, so they are likely working on adding that as well. Throwing is pretty fluid and feels good. You hold the trigger of your throwing hand and release it to let go of the dart. You have to be mindful that the headset can be a really frustrating impediment in the beginning if you are used to throwing regular darts. I have hit the headset many times and am slowly beginning to get used to modifying my throws to avoid that. There is a learning curve, but there's a learning curve to everything and you can use Free Throw mode to work on your accuracy. When throwing, especially trying to double on or off, the darts disappear from the board very quickly so you can't see how close you are to the wire. There have been many throws that I thought looked good on the way but by the time it hits the board and you look at the in game TV close up screen to see where it landed, the dart has disappeared. I'm hoping a future update addresses that issue. Above the dartboard is a screen that shows you what your score is as you make your way down to zero. Since I'm old school, I wish the scores were written in chalk on the board on the door of the cabinet but can see why the board above was used. I'm hoping that if they include cricket at some point that that game is scored on the chalkboard. I'm loving this game even though I'm struggling with accuracy but I finally won my first match against the AI today so there is improvement!

This is the best darts game I have played. I didn't think it would work as every darts game is too easy but this really captures the difficulty of the game and reacts well to the micro-adjustments you make during a game. One point that needs fixing is that when you bust a game of 501 the score doesn't reset, so your remaining score is zero and the game continues which means every dart is a bust and you have to quit the game. I'd love to see a calibration option at the start to adjust power. IE you throw 50 darts at a target and the system adjusts result to your average aim slightly. granted this would be only beneficial for good players I assume but it would be great. I'm a decent darts player but it takes me a lot of darts to hit the double in this game!

After all the effort the devs have put in making this as realistic as possible I don't understand why they made it so that you get an explosion of yellow as your dart hits the board as if you have just hit a yellow tomato without an option to turn it off. Also, the lighting is such that you can't see your dart against any of the black parts of the board no matter how you configure the colours of your dart. I'm sure this could be rectified by a low directional light from either the top or side which just catches the dart. Apart from these two faults its very good - but unplayable in it's current form - for me anyway. I'm refunding now but will keep an eye open and if these are rectified I'll re-purchase.

First of all: This game is a simualtion, if you don't like Darts, you won't like the game at all. As a person who likes to watch and play Darts, I must say that this game is awesome. Your first Darts will feel a bit strange, but after a few, you just feel like you throw real darts. It is the best VR Darts Game I have played yet (by far). Since the game is new, the developers seem to really care about their game (f.e. promising Multiplayer (yeehaw!), more Gamemodes, ...) ---{Graphics}--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☑ Beautiful ☐ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS ---{Gameplay}--- ☑ Very good ☐ Good ☐ It‘s just gameplay ☐ Mehh ☐ Watch paint dry instead ☐ Just don't ---{Audio}--- ☑ Eargasm (just Darts sounds, what could you want more?) ☐ Very good ☐ Good ☐ Not too bad ☐ Bad ☐ I'm now deaf ---{Audience}--- ☐ Kids ☐ Teens ☐ Adults ☑ All ---{PC Requirements}--- ☐ Check if you can run paint ☐ Potato ☑ Decent ☐ Fast ☐ Rich boi ☐ Ask NASA if they have a spare computer ---{Difficulity}--- ☐ Just press 'W' ☐ Easy ☐ Significant brain usage ☐ Easy to learn / Hard to master ☑ Difficult ☐ Dark Souls ---{Grind}--- ☐ Nothing to grind ☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks ☐ Isn't necessary to progress ☑ Average grind level ☐ Too much grind ☐ You‘ll need a second live for grinding ---{Story}--- ☑ No Story ☐ Some lore ☐ Average ☐ Good ☐ Lovely ☐ It‘ll replace your life ---{Game Time}--- ☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee ☐ Short ☐ Average ☐ Long ☑ To infinity and beyond (It is Darts, what do you expect?) ---{Price}--- ☐ It’s free! ☑ Worth the price ☐ If u have some spare money left ☐ Not recommended ☐ You could also just burn your money ---{Bugs}--- ☐ Never heard of ☑ Minor bugs (I will list them down below) ☐ Can get annoying ☐ ARK: Survival Evolved ☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs (I will only mention the bugs here, since I don't know where to post them besides here) I only had a few bugs till now. But these bugs were kinda annoying: When you play a game of 301 (Double In) and start a game of 501, then you automatically need to Double In (even tho it is 501 where you usually don't need to Double In), while the AI does not. The other bug occurs when you snap the camera with your sticks, the TV will follow the Dart in a strange angle (most times you don't see the board then) Conclusion Besides the minor bugs, the game is still awesome and if you are a Darts fan, go get this game.

Boah - terrible handling, terrible, terrible, terrible. Usually I am patient and do not get aggressive over Early Access games, but this is too much. The darts wobble through the air much worse than they already did in the darts game inside Sportsbar VR. Aiming? Compares to throwing dice against the wall and see what number you get. Grabbing the darts is unnatural in angle, power needed to stop them sinking to the ground in midair and not even reaching the wall, is more for muscle training than dart throwing. Graphics are good, really nice, but they cannot save this mess. No sound. And in the smallprint on the board already the threat that although this app costs 13 bucks, further payments are needed in the future to unlock some future features and gimmicks. This has nothing in common with throwing darts in the real world. It does not even work in the way it intends to, I think. If you want to know how to portrait physics nicely from real world sports, compare to Eleven Table Tennis or First Person Tennis or the Air Hockey game inside Sportsbar VR. Such attempts can get close, and I think darts physics can be caught as well, close enough at least to remind of the original. But Sportsbar dropped the ball on its dart game already - and this attempt now is much worse. Fast system on my side, 90 fps easily with max graphics. Refunding now. Released as Early Access W-A-Y-Y-Y too early, maybe...?
